<p style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;">EinMission Possible is a youth democracy project, in cooperation with “Youth in Action”. Four different youth initiatives are taking part in this project. They are the community radio station “Wüste Welle” in Tuebingen, Germany, BCB Bradford Community Broadcast in Bradford, UK, act! E.V., a youth democracy initatiative in Tuebingen and the YMCA in Bradford.<br />

<p style="text-align: justify;">During this 12-month project, international participants will be introduced to media relations related to youth politics. Two international project weeks (+ one evaluation meeting) are planned in the respective partner cities. During these weeks, common events will be held for the participants. <br />

<p style="text-align: justify;">In Tübingen, this will include, among other things, a live broadcast from the RACT! youth festival in June 2008. During the festival, an English/German editorial team will be established and will create a live programme together in an on-site studio. This covers setting up a live studio at the festival location, planning a programme, live reports, interviews, joint contributions, roundtables and a podium discussion on “politics and the media” with experts from various media sectors. A radio forum will take place in Bradford, England in October 2008. During this week, the English participants will to help the Germans get to know their city better. Here, German and English participants will work together on radio reports on the special social and cultural features of the city, which will then be broadcast on BCB 106.6 FM. Since the transition between the local and European section of the project will take place during the project week in Bradford, some learning objectives on European politics will also be communicated during this period. </p>
<p><img width="200" vspace="3" hspace="3" height="166" align="right" alt="" src="/uploads/Image/fotos/audioschnitt.gif" />These topics will then be integrated in a joint, final broadcast. Here, the main objective is to plan, structure, and organise both independently and comprehensively, thereby gaining valuable experience. The joint activities are the “highlight” of the project and will be dealt with jointly by all project partners. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Throughout the entire project, participants in Tübingen and Bradford will work in a journalistic manner and each create a local youth editorial team. The teams will receive a regular timeslot at the local radio station. The editorial teams will deal with similar topics and also cover the political/social/cultural activities in their respective city and partner city. Editorial work will be oriented towards the key points of “youth, media, politics, and participation” with a view towards their city, country, and greater Europe. During the broadcasts, editors will inform listeners thoroughly on current topics and work on their own public relations, as well as discuss and comprehensively document organisational progress and problems. A constant, contextually linked editorial exchange will take place and reports transferred across the English channel. </p>
<p><img width="200" vspace="3" hspace="3" height="161" align="left" alt="" src="/uploads/Image/fotos/danandfolk.gif" />This will enable a continual comparison between the different situations in the cities/countries, which will be disseminated by both of the local radio stations and via the Internet. In doing so, both of the project groups (Tübingen and Bradford) will provide all of their reports on a common media platform, which will make it possible to broadcast excerpts or complete reports in the other country. </p>
<p>The participants have chosen a complex project. Good communication and an appropriate division of labour are required in order to be able to deal with this “workload”. Activities will be dealt with in alternate, so that everyone can attain and expand on a wide variety of skills. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The official project start is 1 March 2008. The first activity will take place in Germany on 29/30 March 2008 with an introductory workshop. An identical workshop to introduce the project will also be held in Bradford. That moment will mark the start of a very exciting year for a project which in parts will still have to be worked on. But every step forward that we make together will mean positive Reinforcement.</p>
